Soccer with Dad

During Gibson's nap, we all headed outside for some Soccer fun.
Ev and I fear for kids with ever having any athletic skills. We are both more on the Artsy side of the map. But who knows, both of our boys seem to be taking an interest in sports lately. Jovi kinda of obsesses over basketball and Nix caught on to soccer very quick and has quite the arm.
Pretty sure he has a better throw than me... but that's not saying too much!

So who knows, maybe we are raising some pro Athlete's or little Artists... who knows.
But whatever they choose to be, both Ev and I will cheer and support them on all the way.

The Reservoir

A few Saturday's back, we spent the day at a fun reservoir my friend Lindsy had told us about over in Herriman. We went with Ev's family while he was helping out with an event at Vivesque.

The kids had a blast running back and forth between the playground and the beach. It was like our own mini beach in northern Utah. Pretty cool.

I'm hoping we will be able to make one more trip there before it gets to cold.
I would love Ev to be able to come with us this time.

The boys dug a hole and filled it with water, and Gibson's crawled right into it^^ haha.
They had fun building and messing up castles and tracks that Uncle Eston was trying to help them make.

Sunday Dinner

I probably sound like a broken record when I say this... but.. I LOVE Sundays.
Sundays mean; family time, relaxing time, a time for feeding the soul, family walks and most importantly... family dinner! ;))
Gibby & Uncle Eston ^^
Here's half of the Family.
Just missing Aric, Kara, Chris & Kristin + their 3 little ones.

We did get to Skype with Chris & Kristin and their little ones later that night, which us living so far away from each other is always fun to see all of them.

It was also fun to have all the little cousins see and talk to each other.
(most of them have never met in person before.)

They went back and forth asking each other questions like; "whats your favorite color" "whats your favorite animal?" "how old are you?" and then they sang a few primary songs together.
It really was the cutest thing.

I can't wait until they can all get together and play in person. <3

Also, Kara is moving back to Utah so we will get to see a lot more of her soon!!

I love the family I married into!  I got pretty lucky with that one<3

Dinner was really yummy. We had salom burgers and Audrie made some really good guacamole we added to the burgers for the perfect taste.
It was pretty danggg good!!
This girl cracks me up. How is she already turning 1 next week?!! My baby girl is growing up way. too. fast. She now has five teeth, has stood up on her own a few times and has the best little booty dance around.

She hasn't attempted taking any steps yet.. but I'm just letting her do her thing, no rush in my opinion.
Nix is a all around animal/bug/reptile lover. He is always wants to make sure whatever creature he finds has a home. That boy has one big heart.

Jovi is big into playing pretend and action figures. It's fun to watch him play and hear the different voices he uses to talk his different action figures. He really gets into it. It's pretty adorable. Well that's it for now.

Temple Square

Last weekend, while we were up visiting family in Salt Lake, we took the little ones to Temple Square for the first time. Uncle Eston came along with us, which we were happy to have him - and also grateful to have a extra hand to help us keep two little active boys inline. ;)

Nixon is always complaining about the sun hurting his eyes,
So Papa bears sunglasses come in handy just for that.
I wish everyone could get the chance of hearing Gibby's fake laugh.
 It's the funniest thing!!
She is such a little goof and is always putting a smile on our face.
I love her so much for that.
I don't think we could have picked a more perfect day to go.
The weather was perfect, all the flowers were in bloom and the smell in the air was something incredible.
By the end of it all, we had 3 very tired little babes.
We made our way back to the car then headed home to Evan's parent's - just in time for naps & salmon burgers. Mmmmm.

I'm so grateful for family and for the knowledge and blessing I have of being stuck with them FOREVER!
I need nothing more than that.
