Little Loves

Gibson loves putting on mine or Evan's hats. I'll find her throughout the day walking around with one on her head. Sometimes she will even run right into the wall because the hat is too big and she can't see where she's going! She's never gotten really hurt, and will jump right back up and keep walking around with it on. She's such a funny little human. 

Jovi is such a good brother with the biggest heart ever. He is always looking out for everyone and loves passing out hugs and kisses. He in return likes a lot of hugs and kisses. One of his favorite things is when I rub essential oils on this back and then scratch it at night before bed. When I try and stop he'll say "noo don't stop, more scratching please!"

Nixon is very thoughtful and very creative. He loves sculpting things out of play dough and is really good at it. Yesterday he made a stegosaurus and a nest with eggs in it. I was really impressed! 

I told her to smile and this is what i got. haha. 

Yesterday, we got our car back from the shop, so I took the little ones out for some exploring while Ev was at work. 

First things first, the car needed to be vacuumed and washed since it hadn't been cleaned since after our trip out here.  It was pretttttyyy bad and making my anxiety run very high! I HATE having a messy car, so vacuuming it is usually a weekly occasion with our three little messy monkeys. 

After I got the car all nice and cleaned, we went to check out a few shops and found some other places to add to our family to do list. After our 4th stop, and chasing a few wild kids around the store, it was time to make our way back home and get Gibson down for a nap.

During nap-time, I cleaned up the house and started some laundry while the boys played with play dough. Play dough has definitely been a big life savor around here as I have been trying to unpack boxes and get the house in order. It will seriously entertain them for hours. 

When Gibs got up, i fed her a snack then started making taco's for dinner. I turned on T Swifts new album and had a little dance party with her in the kitchen while she helped me make dinner. When the Shake It Off song came on, I would shake my hair in her face while busting out a silly move, she thought it was hilarious and couldn't stop laughing! when i would stop so she could catch her breathe, she would  try and mimic everything i did. She's so great!  <3 The boys came in to join us when they heard gibby laughing. We danced and made Gibson laugh a litter longer, then at dinner.  

Ev got home a little bit later and we had the Missionaries from our church stop by for a visit. Our kids are nowhere near shy, and loved having visitors over to show them all their toys and whatever else they could find. haha. Nixon (all on his own and without anyone asking) went and filled up two glasses of water and set them down in front of the missionaries haha. I guess he thought he looked thirsty or something. I thought it was really sweet of him. 

After then left, we tucked our little loves in and headed for bed. It's crazy how much our schedule and nightly routine has changed since we moved out here. The kids are in bed a lot earlier then before and even we have been getting to sleep a lot earlier. We must be getting old or something ;)

Car Problems, Bills & Kisses from my babes

Slowly but surely we are getting settled into our new place. 

There is still a stack of boxes in the laundry room I am  avoiding. Mainly because I have no idea where to put it all. 

Yesterday I spent the morning looking over the bills and changing our address, you know all that fun stuff. Ev didn't work until 1, so he did some things around the house and ran a few errands before work. 

Both of our cars haven't been working, so we were very grateful when a few friend said we could barrow one of his cars. 

One of our cars is ready to be picked up today, but we are probably going to hold off on getting the other one fixed for now since the van was a lot more then we had expected. So we will be down to one car again until we can get the other fixed. I hate car problems. 

I spent most of the morning and afternoon on the computer trying to get everything changed and figured out.

The boys played with play dough and watched PBS while Gibson played with her baby and occasionally came over to me to sit on my lap. Which usually meant taking a little break since all she wanted to do was bang on the keypad. 

After nap time and dinner, I was needing to give my brain a break from finances and bills, so we through some blankets in the dryer, then snuggled on the couch in them all comfy and cozy while we watched Maleficent for the first time. I loved it. I'm a sucker for fantasy. 

It was fun to just hang out with my babes, and not be worrying about a thing. During the movie, the boys both started kissing on my cheeks (they were pretending to be the prince and i was sleeping beauty) Gibson wanted to join in too, so she stared giving me kisses right on the mouth. At one point. all three of them were smothering me with kisses. I thought my heart was going to burst! I love my little sweeties so much. They always seem to know when I need their lovin the most. 

The Farm

I'm still catching up from our Salt Lake trip last weekend...
On Saturday, we went with my good friend Lindsy and her boys to a farm at Thanksgiving Point. She has 3 little ones all the same ages as mine, so you can imagine all the fun we have when we get together. Yes it's a bit crazy at times, but we love it and couldn't picture lives any other way!

When we got there, all the kids were so excited and raced in to see the animals.
As we were looking at some of the chickens Nixon says, "Mom why is the farmer so mean? he locked those chickens up so they can't run around!" His concern through me off guard a little bit, but also made me smile at how loving he is towards animals.
I assured him that in the evenings, sometimes they let all the animals out and roam around.
I also told him that I bet the farmers are actually really nice and take very good care of all of the animals. I think that answer made him feel better.

After that, we went on a wagon ride around Thanksgiving Point.
They all thought that was a lot of fun.
When the ride was over, we went over to a farmers market to check out some of the booths.

At the Farmers Market, I spotted a very pretty bracelet with healing stones on it.
I have been reading up on healing stones recently but am still pretty new with them.
The more I read, the more I am fascinated with them so I couldn't pass it up.

After browsing through the booths and nearly sweating to death, we headed to ice cream shop for some free kiddie cones, cold water and a malt shake.
It was the perfect cure for the hot summer day.

By that time, Lindsy had to get her boys to a birthday party, so we said our goodbyes:(( which is always hard to say goodbye to them, I never want our playdates to end!!:( At least they are only 4 hours away right?!

We procrastinated our goodbyes a little longer, then finally were on our way.
